Dive Education with SEAL:

PADI Introductory courses – ranging from half a day up to two days.
If you are not quite sure whether you want to start off with a qualification course such as the PADI Open Water Course, you may prefer to go for an Introductory course to get the feel of things. If you feel happy with it you can go on to do the PADI Open Water course which would make you a qualified diver.
PADI - DISCOVER SCUBA – confined water (usually in a pool) is a basic try-dive course, i.e. using a full set of scuba equipment under the water – accompanied by one of our PADI diving instructors of course!
Duration: half a day
PADI - DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING – similar to Discover Scuba, plus one open water dive – in the sea this time. You would also undertake basic knowledge development sessions.
Duration: one day
PADI - SCUBA DIVER – this course does carry a recognized diving qualification but with restrictions to the depths of the dives. You would cover just over half the theory and water skills that are necessary to become a fully certified open water dive.
Day 1: Theory and pool sessions.
Day 2: 2 open water dives at Racha Yai Island on the day-dive boat.
Duration two days
All of the above introductory courses carry points towards becoming a fully qualified Open Water diver.
PADI Open Water Course:
You may prefer to go straight for the PADI Open Water course which qualifies you to dive with another diver of the same grade without an instructor being present, with a depth restriction to eighteen meters.
PADI - OPEN WATER COURSE - this course has five diving theory modules, five confined water dives and four open water dives. The theory modules cover physics, diving equipment, dive planning and the diving environment. The pool sessions cover safe use of diving equipment, basic diving skills and emergency skills. The open water dives are to put the skills shown above into the real diving environment. It also gives you the actual diving experience. Two of the open water dives will be from the beach or from a long-tail boat*, with the other two open water dives from the day-dive boat which visits the local dive sites of Racha Yai which lies south of Phuket island. Lunch, coffee and a towel are provided on the day-dive boat with no additional charge.
The course includes the use of all equipment and materials required to complete the course PLUS Open Water Manual, log book, dive tables (which you take away with you), certification and insurance for the course duration.
*If the sea conditions are unsuitable, these two dives will be from the day-dive boat
Duration: four days
The price includes the PADI Open Water Pack which includes the Diver manual and logbook which is yours to keep. Plus the PADI registration fee, all diving equipment, and a SEAL T-shirt.
PADI - ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE - This course consists of five theory knowledge reviews plus five open water dives, two of which would be mandatory – these would be the deep dive and navigation dive. The remaining three dives are optional. You can choose from night dive, boat dive, drift dive, multi-level dive, search and recovery dive, wreck dive and under water naturalist dive.
The course includes the use of all equipment and materials required to complete the course, PLUS the Advanced Open Water Manual and log book and free SEAL Tee shirt to take home with you. Also included: certification including PADI registration fee and insurance for the duration of the course. Lunch, coffee and a towel are provided on the day-dive boat with no additional charge.

The price includes the PADI Advanced Open Water Pack which includes the Diver manual and logbook which is yours to keep. Plus the PADI registration fee, all diving equipment, and a SEAL T-shirt.
PADI - MEDIC FIRST AID: This course is available to non-divers as well as divers. It is a prerequisite of the PADI Rescue Diver Course. This is really a basic First Aid course for which students need no previous knowledge. You will be taught CPR (Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) and basic First Aid skills.

PADI - RESCUE DIVER COURSE: The prerequisite of this course is the PADI Medic First Aid Certificate or equivalent from another recognized body, current within the past three years.
Designed to enable the diver to respond safely and effectively to a diving emergency, the course will cover a wide range of different diving scenarios, resulting in two final practical assessments. In addition there are theory modules, which include accident prevention, common problems of diving incidents, dealing with diving related injuries and dive emergency management. It includes diving equipment, certification and PADI Rescue Diver Crew Pack.
Duration: two to three days
PADI - DIVEMASTER COURSE: This is the first level of the professional status in the PADI system. The theory lessons cover a wide range of topics and a higher degree of diving knowledge. As a Divemaster you would assist a qualified PADI Instructor in a variety of training sessions which will enhance your practical diving skills up to demonstration standard. The student will gain invaluable experience in a professional field of diving.
Includes use of all diving equipment, Divemaster Manual Knowledge Review Workbook – but it excludes the actual cost of certification which would be payable directly to PADI.
