S/y Gaea is one of South East Asia Liveaboards'
sailing yachts used for adventure tours to Burma (Myanmar).
Wooden Ketch Rigged Trimaran, length 51', beam 26'. She is
professionally built and maintained. 8 passengers in 3 double and 2 single cabins. Shower
and toilet, deck shower, well equipped galley. Big main saloon with well laid out decks.
CD System, TV and Video. Diving directly from the yacht with easy access to the water or
from a 3.5 meter RIB inflatable dingy with a 25 hp outboard. 2 petrol driven compressors,
dive tanks, weights and lights. GPS navigation system, depth sounder, auto pilot, VHF
radio, camera charging facilities. Linen and towels provided.
A note on the side:
The vessel Gaea was recently chartered by the BBC TV
(British Broadcasting Corporation) taking the film crew to the Surin
Islands and then on to the Andaman Islands (India). Sensational
footage, including swimming elephants plus unique shoots of the remote and virtually
untouched Andaman Islands were broadcasted worldwide in the India documentary: 'Land of
the Tiger'.
